Next scheduled regular Board meeting: July 23, 2026
The May Treasurer’s report was tabled until the next regular Board meeting. The financial committee will be meeting on July 29th to begin to work on a projected budget for 2026/2027
Pot hole, electric – the vendor addressed a day’s worth of work for a portion of the priority potholes with the assistance of the maintenance committee. We continue to wait for GMP to schedule the remaining work needed on Coventry.
The CDI report regarding the PRICE grant was tabled until the next Board meeting

New Property tax appraisal: 20 residents attended the regularly scheduled Board meeting to discuss the Town’s letters regarding their tax reassessments. The Board suggested calling the Town to schedule a meeting to grieve the assessed value if they believe it was not a fair assessment of their home. Several residents reported that they have already done this and are angry about the outcome. One resident in particular reported that she was not informed of the new assessment at the in-person meeting she attended on the same day the assessment letters were mailed, and no mention was made of a new revised amount. Her audio recording validated her claim. The Board suggested she consult with an attorney.
The Board emphasized that this is a Town matter between the homeowner and the Town Tax assessor regarding their mobile home residence and the Co-op Board has no authority to represent their mobile home appraisal; however, many residents have collectively retained MSK/Hans Heussy to challenge the portion of the reassessment that includes the common land value that has been added to their reassessment. They all requested information on the specifics of signing on and how they can be included. They were informed that CDI has sent an email to each homeowner with the details.
The Co-op anniversary celebration will be rescheduled and will not be held on July 18th. The new date will be announced shortly.
