The next scheduled meeting will be the annual membership meeting, combined with the Co-op 7th anniversary celebration, tentatively set for August 27, 2026, followed by a brief regular Board meeting. The quorum needed is approximately 70 members to conduct business. Please save the date. More information and details to follow.
The treasurer’s report was provided along with the proposed budget for the 2026/27 fiscal year.
The maintenance committee is planning to paint the fire hydrants and to repaint the speed limit road signs.
The court nets have been replaced with new ones, the benches have arrived, and 2 new swimming pool tables have arrived, thanks to grant funds from the Village of Westbury donated to the Co-op.
Two Board positions will be up for election in August (President & Treasurer), and 1 Director position is available for appointment by the Board. More to follow in the coming weeks regarding the ballot and elections.
The home/lot improvement request forms now include information for the steps to take when planning a project, along with the Town building permit application. Best to call the Town to ask whether a permit is needed for your project.
CDI spoke about the PRICE grant we have been awarded and the next step of receiving membership approval.
PMA spoke about the current Leach fields; 3 of the 5 have been completed. The other 2 are awaiting additional permitting due to unexpected work required to move forward with completion. The next 5 Leach field replacements are in the permitting stage.
The Finance committee met on July 14th along with CDI and PMA to develop the proposed 2026/2027 annual budget. CDI presented the proposed budget. Some slight changes were made, and the Board passed it unanimously. It has now been sent to ROC USA for final approval and will be placed on the ballot for membership approval.
The attorney who was retained to challenge the property tax reassessment has presented to the Board of Listers the list of residents who signed on to dispute the common land value applied to each manufactured/mobile home structure.
We could use some volunteers to help with the annual meeting/7th co-op anniversary celebration. Please let a Board member know if you are available.

The annual meeting packet, including the proposed budget, will be distributed by August 17th. Board member positions up for election and any Bylaw or Rules changes will be included in the packet with a DRAFT ballot. Do not use that ballot to vote. It will not be counted. Members will be provided a valid ballot as soon as they sign in at the annual meeting. Please save the date: Thursday, August 27, 2026. Sign-in is tentatively scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
