Treasurer’s report for April 2026 was provided.
The communication Board has been revisited and delayed regarding its placement and the lack of 2 regular volunteers to maintain it.
There is a delay in the 5 Leach field replacements due to unexpected additional expenses required to cover the project. This will be resolved, and a new plan will be developed.
Maintenance committee volunteers are working hard to address the chipper repair, court net replacements, benches, pool maintenance, etc.
The social committee has plans in the works for the kiddos’ last day of school celebration and the co-op’s 7th anniversary celebration.
The electrical upgrade on Coventry Rd has not yet been completed; however, the vendor assures us he can schedule its completion soon.
Property Tax Reassessments are startling to everyone in the community, and many folks report that they will contact the Town to gather information and learn about the appeal process.
The Finance committee will be meeting in June to begin reviewing the 2026/27 budget.
The Bylaws and Rules committee will meet in June to review whether amendments or additions are needed.
The pool will open on June 19th, and oversight will ensure that rules are followed and that only co-op members and their guests are permitted to use the amenity. This applies to the basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts as well.
The grant income surveys have not yet reached the required goal, but we are very close. We have 10 more days to achieve the remaining balance of the surveys.
Submitting home/lot improvement request forms needs to be in the office drop box by Wednesdays of each week. Expect a 2-week turnaround time. It’s best to contact Colchester planning and zoning to find out whether a permit is required for your project and to complete the permit application. The committee member inspecting your project can sign the permit application at the same time as the request form if approved. Timing is essential because the Town can take up to 30 days to approve the permit application.
