Home/Lot Improvement Request Process and Procedure

                        Westbury Homeowners Association Inc.

Home/Lot Improvement Request & Service Request

  • Resident submits the form(s) to PMA
  • PMA sends the form to the Home/Lot Committee Secretary
  • Secretary passes request form to Committee Chair
  • The committee inspects the work eg: compliance with Co-op rules and town requirements etc.
  • Signs off when approved and returns to resident and secretary.
  • If a permit is needed the committee member will inform the resident at the time of inspection or suggest a call to the Town
  • The resident completes the Town permit application – and drops it in the designated box so the secretary can scan it. It needs a Co-op authorized signature and returned to the resident. The Town will not accept the application if unsigned by a Co-op authorized representative or if it is altered
  • The resident brings the signed permit to the town.
  • Pays permit free and receives permit within the Towns permitted time frame. A copy of the Permit Notice card needs to be dropped in the designated box for the secretary to file.
  • The resident is responsible for reading the permit requirement thoroughly & must display the permit notice card openly.
  • The committee will decide at what point they will inspect the work being performed to make sure that all work is exactly as  approved.

In some cases, PMA will address the request for approval and connect with the resident.
