Westbury Homeowners Association August 2024 Recap

Next tentatively scheduled regular Board meeting September 26, 2024

The 5th Annual Meeting and a brief regular meeting were conducted on August 22, 2024

The Ballot to approve the 2024/25 Budget, Lot Rent increase, Community Rules amendments, Bylaw amendments, sale of the stump grinder, and election for the Vice President and Treasurer was passed by the majority of the membership quorum.

President’s progress report was provided and thanks were given to all the volunteer/committee members as well as the volunteers who lend a hand to make the committee work a bit lighter. The Volunteer Maintenance committee members have saved the Co-op approx $125, 000 over the past 5 years.

Transformers have been installed by GMP on Waverly/Greenbriar. Essex Electric plans to make the connections in early September. GMP has not installed the transformers on Coventry and until they do, the connections cannot be completed.

The five priority Septic Leach field replacements are almost complete. The 5th one will be completed by early September. We will enter into a new planning stage for the next group of priority Leach field replacements to be performed in the Spring of 2025

The EPA state-mandated inventory water line inspections continues to be performed by MSK Engineering and should be completed within the next couple of days. A Blue dot will be temporarily placed at the location of your shut-off valve to provide you with that information for your records.
