No Open Burning Allowed
As good weather approaches it is always a good time to remind everyone that open burning is strictly prohibited for everyone’s safety.
Please refer to Section IV. Sites 5: No open fires, firepits, outside burning of leaves, rubbish, etc. is strictly not
permitted. Gas and charcoal grills are permitted but permanent fireplaces and
barbecue pits are not permitted. This rule does not supersede any and all
applicable fire codes.
If you see open fires within the COOP please call the Colchester Fire Dept and report it immediately.
