Next regular Board meeting October 23, 2025
The Treasures report was tabled until the next regular Board meeting.
The Village of Westbury was awarded a grant and donated a portion of it to the Westbury Co-op to support community and physical activity for the Westbury residents.
The Annual Membership Meeting, in combination with the Co-op’s 6th Anniversary celebration, was held on August 19th. Eighty-five residents attended the festivities. The door raffle for a 1-month lot rent credit was won by Victor C. The Ballot for the budget, Bylaws amendment, and Community Rule amendment was passed by a majority vote of the membership. Board of Directors Elections results are as follows: Secretary: Denise S, Director 1: Kathy S, Director 2: Harris Q, Director 3: Libby P, President: Gayle P was appointed by the Board for a 4th term, being that there were no other eligible candidates.
The Maintenance Committee members have completed the pothole repairs for this year. The Shuffle Board was completed. Road markings for 15 MPH speed limits were completed. Electrical issues in the work shed have been addressed. Catch basin clearing will need to be outsourced for maintenance. The dump truck needs servicing. The chipper, water shutoffs, Garage furnace, street lights, and hydrants are being addressed.
The Office/mailroom roof needs to be replaced, and the Board voted to accept RJ Lang’s proposal. The Heating/Cooling system for the Office and rental apartment needs to be replaced, and the Board voted to accept Redrock Mechanics’ proposal.
