COLCHESTER, Vt. (WCAX) – Colchester Police arrested a man they say was threatening other drivers with a gun Saturday night.
Police say they took 29-year-old Stephen Bennett into custody on West Lakeshore Drive in Colchester at about 8:30 Tuesday.
He faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. Police say Bennett passed numerous cars, pointing a gun, and threatened people with a gun in Winooski.
Police tracked down Bennett and his car right after the incidents over the weekend, but they lost him when he fled the scene on foot.
Bennett is now behind bars on $10,000 bail.
