Interior renovations in excess of $2,500
New commercial, industrial, and residential
structures
Any addition to an existing structure
Fences, pools, patios, and decks.
Accessory structures such as sheds
Adding an accessory apartment
Seawalls
Excavation, filling, grading
Paving, concrete, or adding other
impervious material
Home Businesses & Occupations
Signs (temporary & permanent)
Changes of Use & Occupancy
Demolition
What does not require a
Permit?
The following activities do not require a permit:
Interior renovations not exceeding $2,500.
Interior work that is not structural, such as
flooring and painting and installation of
personal property.
Window or door replacement that does not
change in size.
Replacement roof coverings or siding.
