We are beginning to move forward to the next step of understanding and researching all of our options for our Coop that assists us to become a neighborhood just like any other neighborhood and receive the same services as any other neighborhood in Colchester.
Twenty-three months ago we began this project in an attempt to appeal to the Selectboard to provide valid reasons why our park is no longer being provided Winter maintenance now that we have become a Non-Profit, Low to Moderate income level, Mobile Home Cooperative therefore no longer falling into the category of a private for-profit business.
The Select Board was helpful in offering suggestions for the plowing issue however none of them were practical or significantly cost-effective. During our research of this project, we discovered that there are other possibilities that would help us reclassify our Coop and become eligible to receive help from the town & state that we are not able to at present
We need support from all of our homeowners by filling out a survey which will be provided to the residents very soon.
