CDI Report: Discussion surrounding Colchester plans for Mobile Homes Cooperatives and Tax assessors planning for 2023- 2024. The sale of Mobile Home parks in the past few years has triggered the Town to re-assess land properties as stated in the Town report for Future Goals and Priorities, “Review need to reassess Mobile Home Parks“
PMA Report: * Reminded Homeowners to check their heat tape and advised leaving heat on and cabinet doors open in kitchen and bathroom if going to be away for extended periods. * Electrical upgrades: still waiting on GMP to hook up to transformers on the Coventry project. * The tree vendor contract for 2023/24 was Board approved for the emergency trees and the list of priorities trees needing service. *The Occupancy Agreement, Schedule of Fees, and Lease addendum became effective as of October 1st. * Final notices for reflective address signs have been sent. A final inspection will be performed to determine the next measures to take place for non-compliance.
Maintenance Committee report: Solar lights and placement are being planned, Entrance Road markings have been completed, Property Drains are being cleared and monitored, Security camera repair and upgrade continue to be planned, regular weekly ground and property maintenance is ongoing, Brush pile chipping is ongoing, brush hogging scheduled in 4 areas. The resident use brush drop is still suspended. Two new co-op members have volunteered to join the maintenance committee.
Home/Lot Improvement Committee: PMA collects the requests submitted on Wednesday. A committee member or PMA will inspect the location of the project requested and determine approval, alternatives, and/or the need for a Town permit and Dig Safe. Expect a 2-week turnaround time once the request is collected on Wednesday.
The Volunteer/Social Committee greeted the kiddos on 10/31st at the bus stop and provided a Halloween Treat (no Trick). All the kiddos enjoyed the decorations and the fantastic treat bags. Another awesome event hosted by our lovely ladies on this committee.

On October 11, 2023, the Village Project Team Leader representing, the registered voters living in Westbury, posted two public notices in the newly formed village declaring that the Incorporated Municipal Village of Westbury has been created in the Town of Colchester. Shortly after, four public notices were posted warning the 1st Village Meeting to elect a Board of Trustees will be held on November 11, 2023.
The warned meeting post will be placed in several newspapers at least ten days before that meeting. Once a Board of Trustees are elected that Board will be subject to Open Meeting Laws and required protocol and procedures.
The Westbury Homeowners Association Inc. Board of Directors would like to congratulate the Westbury residents who contributed to the project to form the village. The Westbury neighborhood’s ability to thrive and progress is beneficial to all Colchester residents.
