Westbury May 2023 Recap

The next tentatively scheduled Board meeting is June 22, 2023

Treasurer’s report was presented for the month of April. The report is available to co-op members upon request. The financial committee will be meeting to compile and review the expenditures to develop the 2023/2024 fiscal year budget in June. Please contact a Board member for the meeting date.

The pool will be opening on June 16, 2023, from 8:30a to 8:30p – Pool rules will be posted – sign-in is required daily. Only Westbury residents & their guests are permitted use of the pool. The pool attendant’s and volunteer’s schedules have been finalized

The Rules & Bylaws committee meeting was conducted and presented the rule changes before the Board for approval. Those changes will then be presented to the ROC USA attorney for approval. Once approved by ROC they will be included on the Ballot at the Annual Membership Meeting.

Our CFNE Loan Officer attended our Board meeting to review our Capital Improvement Planning – An outline of the upcoming spending was presented for Electrical Upgrades, Leach Field Replacements & Road Repair caused by these upgrades.

Maintenance Committee conducted a successful Green Up Day on May 6th. A Huge thanks to the committee members and volunteers that contributed to cleaning all of the common areas of brush, leaves & trash, trimming & edging the lawns, sprucing up the front office, preparing the courts for the summer activity, and keeping our surroundings safe & lovely.

The landscaping vendor contract was approved service has begun.

The Volunteer/Social Committee will be planning a treat for the kiddo’s last day of school and a Summer Celebration Co-op 4th anniversary party for June 24th, Rain date July 8th.

Our construction loan officer attended our Board meeting as a guest and provided some specifics regarding the next phase of the loan.

Rules & Bylaws committee presented some community rule changes which were then approved by the Board. The next step in the process is to send them to ROC USA for approval and then place them on the ballot for the August Annual Membership meeting for a vote.

The Village Project Team continues to collect petition signatures using the Towns list to reach their goal. The Leadership Champlain team has finished their work on the village project and deliverables will be presented in June.
